I took a walk into a well known fast food eatery that specialises in chicken this weekend. First of all I was amazed about how slow the service was! Which gave me reason to read the many signs they had placed around the walls. "REAL CHICKEN!" one particular sign read.

I had to think about this for a minute. "REAL" chicken. Is there another sort? Or is that like petrol....containing REAL petrol? I'm aware that there are products out there that might not be 100% chicken but what could chicken be other than "real" chicken?

Another fast food eatery lays claim that all their eggs are layed in one place. ONE place? Are you sure? How big a chicken farm is that?

Oh....we're back on the chickens again!

REAL Chicken??? Its just like the same as another well known fast food place where they say that they beef burgers is made from 100% REAL beef... Whats all that about? Are they trying to say that the meat isnt made from the plastic chicken dog toys you can get or something...

...Also I know what fast food eatery you are talking about John because mine is the same!

Did you know that their chicken isn't even Fried!?

That would depend on your definition of "fried". Personally I'm not bothered how it's cooked, as long as it's cooked.

If you've ever heard of the "KFC Rat" that particular delight was "fried" at my local KFC many years ago. Strangely, the place was closed down for a considerable period afterwards.
Been a while since my last post here. I've just been busy, busy, busy!

Anyhow, one thing I've been doing a lot of lately is watching American game show clips from the 80s. In fact, game show clips from lots of countries including America.

It's the people's faces I like to watch when they either win or lose BIG! Not only that but attempt to understand why some people seem to leave their brains at the studio door and come up with some increasingly ridiculous answers! Turkey anyone?

My favourite of the moment is the $100,000 Pyramid Game. It was popular for a while over here but seems to have been a massive hit over in USA. One particular man pulled the strangest face once he realised he'd won and the face promptly stayed like that for the next few minutes which made you wonder if there had been a sudden change in direction of the wind in the studio.

S'funny you should say that... My mum always used to say "Christopher, if the wind changes you'll stick like that!" ...Never used to understand her, until one day the wind changed, now look at me!
