Lets say you claim to be 21. You body is made up, at a low level, of atoms. These atoms have been on (or part of) the Earth for several billion years (barring those that arrived here as part of comets, meteors and solar wind). They were not created when you were born and when you eat you are consuming atoms that are equally old. Matter is only a form of energy (that cannot be created, only transformed).
Therefore you may claim to be 21 but in actual fact you are around 13.4 billion years old (the age of the universe).
It's no wonder I ache in the mornings
